Back in February half-term Phoebe took Cerys to climb Snowdon in North Wales as (despite being a proud Welsh woman) the Catatonia front woman and BBC Radio 6 and 2 presenter had never stepped foot on its highest peak.

Kitting Cerys and the kids out at Cotswold Outdoor (thanks guys) pre-trip Phoebe joined them for a stay at Pen Y Pass YHA, the place where Mallory, Hilary and of course Phoebe’s favourites the Pinnacle Ladies trained for mountaineering expeditions to Europe, Everest and beyond.

The kit was well and truly tested in the Snowdonia rain and fog – as they took the Pyg Track up and the Miner’s Track back down.

But Phoebe is pleased to report that they all made it – and even enjoyed the experience!

The mini-adventure was featured in a write up Phoebe did for Trail magazine which – if you missed – you can real all about it by clicking here.
